No Bake Chocolate Cheesecake Pie
Follow this no-bake Chocolate Cheesecake recipe to get a smooth and creamy dessert that sets up beautifully in the refrigerator. With a chocolate cookie crumble crust and a cream cheese chocolate filling, this pie is a chocolate-lovers dream.
My favorite part of this pie just might be that crust. It’s so simple (only 2 ingredients!), and it’s SO good. My second favorite part? The homemade whipped cream. And not just the dollops on top! My favorite homemade whipped cream is folded right into the filling. It’s what makes this pie so creamy and smooth. And because it’s a stabilized whipped cream recipe, you don’t have to worry about it deflating and ruining the pie.

No Bake Chocolate Cheesecake Pie Details
► Flavor: If you’ve ever tried my Cheesecake Dip, then you’re familiar with the general flavor of a no bake cheesecake. It’s light and just the right amount of sweet. This recipe using melted chocolate chips to add a rich, chocolatey depth to both the flavor and the texture. It’s not overly sweet, but it’s rich enough that a small slice is satisfying.
► Texture: This pie is ultra creamy and smooth. It’s somewhere between a mousse and a cheesecake, but not quite either one. Since this recipe uses melted chocolate (instead of cocoa powder), the filling sets up quite firmly once chilled. The stabilized whipped cream helps with this as well (which is another reason I recommend using my homemade whipped cream instead of something like Cool Whip).

► Level of Complexity: There are three separate homemade components to the recipe, so this recipe does take a little extra time. However, each part of the recipe is very easy. As long as you can use an electric mixer, you’ll be just fine.
And if you want to cut out a step in making the Oreo crust, you can do what I did and use pre-crumbled Oreo cookies (yes! It’s a real thing!).
Step by Step Photos for Filling
There are two steps to making the filling for this pie. The first is made by mixing together the cream cheese, butter, vanilla, sugar, and melted chocolate chips. The second step is making the homemade whipped cream. I have a whole post about my favorite whipped cream recipe if you’d like more details about it. The most important thing to know about the whipped cream component is that it’s responsible for much of the pie’s structure and stability as well as the light, creamy texture.
